Florida and Georgia Schedules

How to use these schedules:

The schedules calculate the delivery date for each available flat size based on the sow week plus the current grow cycle of each crop plus a planning leadtime of two weeks.

Once you enter the week # in the  "Sow your order" field (bright green) the date that is posted directly below will tell you when "Your order must be at Speedling by" date (bright yellow). This date (always a Monday) is the date that the order must be entered into the Speedling computer system.  If the current date is past this point please look to the following sow week to see what delivery dates are available.  Remember to always check the deadline date highlighted in the bright yellow field when using these work sheets (Excel format):

• Florida and Georgia: Weeks 41 to 4 - updated 09/16/08
• Florida: Weeks 5 to 10-- Georgia: Weeks 5 to 15 - corrected 01/09/08
• Florida: Weeks 11 to 36 -- Georgia: Weeks 16 to 32  - updated 02/01/08
• Florida: Weeks 37 to 40 -- Georgia: Weeks 33 to 40 - updated 07/30/08

Because we change our grow cycles three to four times a year we have added four separate worksheets for you to use when determining whether your order can be sown.  These take into account the different grow cycles at different times of the year.  There is a note at the very top of each scheduling worksheet, which will identify the valid sow dates for this worksheet.  If you try to use a worksheet and request a date outside those dates you will get an error message.  This will help you avoid missing sow dates during grow cycle changes.

This chart was designed as a guideline for our customers to use when placing orders.  We have tried to give you as much information as possible to assist you in the ordering process. However, as most of you know, when dealing with a live product, we may need to make adjustments under certain conditions.  All production changes are made to provide you, our customers, with the uniform, consistent quality you have come to expect from a Speedling plug year-round.
