Corporate
As one of the world’s largest producers of containerized transplants, Speedling possesses the resources, knowledge and commitment to meet the growing challenges facing the agricultural world today.
Since 1968, Speedling’s
team of researchers, growers and marketers has been dedicated
to the development and discovery of new technology in world
agriculture. With our headquarters in Sun
City, Florida, and nursery production facilities across
the United States and China, Speedling has long been a leader
in horticultural technology growing over 2 billion vegetable
and ornamental transplants annually.
With
the invention of the unique, inverted pyramid cell planter
flat, Speedling changed the way the world grows with the use
of transplants. The Speedling cell design allowed for the
production of consistently high-quality transplants that could
be mass-produced for seeded vegetables, ornamentals, forestry
crops and vegetatively propagated products.
Speedling is known worldwide and you will find our system at work in more than 30 countries throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. In 1998, we began establishing Speedling greenhouse production facilities in China, where we currently have ten working nurseries producing both vegetables and ornamentals. Through the International Division, Speedling growing systems are promoted around the world. Our multi-national teams provide on-site technical assistance, marketing support and training through either licensing agreements or joint ventures.
No matter what you need for the business
of growing, chances are you’ll find it at Speedling.
Our company offerings include everything from Ornamentals
(plugs, liners, 10-week seed geraniums, perennials,
pansies and vegetative
cuttings), to Vegetables
(transplants specifically grown on contract), to our Horticultural
Products Division (offering flats, soil media, greenhouses,
and a full range of equipment and supplies). In addition,
located at our headquarters in Sun City, Florida, we have
an EPS Molding Division
where we mold the Speedling flats for our nurseries and offer
them for sale to other greenhouse growers, as well as providing
molding for packaging, insulating and building materials.
We have been here for more than three decades and are now licensed in thirty countries around the world. We have thousands of satisfied customers and offer a world of potential for the future. Isn’t it reassuring to work with a company who has been part of the industry’s progress since 1968?
This is Speedling. Now is the time to make us part of your growth plan.
